Before you connect

Do I need an app?

Plait runs in your browser, so there is no Plait app to install. Your Apple Health data reaches Plait through Health Auto Export, a separate iPhone app. Its automatic background sync needs its Premium plan, bought separately in the App Store; sending past days with Manual Export may work without it.

Is Plait free with Apple Watch?

Yes. Plait Free includes your weekly meal plan with weighed portions, calories and macros, and needs no card. Pro is optional and adds meal swaps, more customization, daily guidance and PDF export.

Which Apple Watch models work?

Any Apple Watch paired with an iPhone that saves its readings to Apple Health. Plait uses what your watch records there; sleep stages appear when your watch tracks your sleep.

Do I need an iPhone? What about Android?

Yes, you need an iPhone. Apple Watch pairs only with an iPhone, and Plait receives your data from Apple Health on that iPhone. Android phones cannot send Apple Health data; if you use Garmin or WHOOP, you can connect those instead.

Does my plan change automatically every day?

You choose when to refresh. Recent completed wearable days and your goal inform calorie and macro targets. Sleep and recovery inform guidance; they do not automatically change your portions.
